Welcome to Troop 369!

Welcome to the web site of Troop 369! Our troop can provide you and your son the opportunity to participate in activities that are not available to many other boys of his age.  The goal of our troop and the Boy Scouts of America Program is to build our Scouts into successful young men of exceptional honor and character. The Boy Scouts of America Program will also provide our Scouts with ample opportunities to improve their teamwork and leadership skills.

See why you won't be disappointed when you join us for fun and adventure!

Hiking Trip at Hawk Mountain March 21- March 23

Posted by scampanella on Mar 6 2025 - 7:30pm

Are you ready for the next grand adventure!

The troop will be camping at Hawk Mountain and then performing a day hike heading south along the Appalachian Trail.  We will be hiking the stretch from Route 183 to route 501.  The total distance could be as much as 10 miles but we have a bail out option at 6 miles.  We will pass the Shikellamy overlook, the shower steps with a possible detour through a boulder field. Everyone should carry a day pack so they can build their endurance.  We will have an opportunity to prepare lunch on the trail and we will retire to the comfort of a cabin at night.

Troop Meeting

Posted by scampanella on Mar 3 2025 - 5:29am

We had a great weekend!  Normally we would have a patrol leaders council meeting this week.  But due to a scheduling mix-up this week is a regular troop meeting.  See you Tuesday.

Patrol Leaders Council Meeting

Posted by scampanella on Feb 23 2025 - 7:09pm

This week is a patrol leaders council meeting.  Yes, we are a little reversed but the cabin was already booked for last weekend so we are camping next weekend!

Thats right! Join the troop as we ship off to Chester Council and the famed Camp Horseshoe and Baltimore.  We will be cabin camping at Horseshoe and traveling to Baltimore and Fort McHenry.  The plan is to participate in the morning flag raising, explore the fort, then head to the marina district and explore the Aquarium.  Sounds like a fun filled day for all!

Scout Sunday February 9

Posted by scampanella on Feb 2 2025 - 7:07pm

A scout is reverent... A Scout is faithful in his or her religious beliefs and respects the beliefs of others.

Sunday, February 9 is Scout Sunday.

Please come out and support the troop and our Charter organization, Visitation BVM Church, this Sunday at the 11:00 mass. If you are available to join us we are meeting at the Church at 10:45.  Wear your Class A uniform.  All are welcome to attend.  The Cub Scouts will be in attendance and we will be supporting them as well.
